The Fold at The National Film Awards

John Jencks's debut feature The Fold has been nominated for Best Drama at The National Film Awards 2015, alongside films including Mr. Turner and Calvary. The nomination follows awards for Best Screenplay, Best Editing and Best Cinematography at the Women's Independent Film Festival and Best International Film at the IFS Film Festival.

The Hallow world premiere at Sundance

ESF backed The Hallow, the feature debut from Corin Hardy, premiered at Sundance Film Festival. Starring Joseph Mawle, the horror tells the story of a conservationist who unwittingly disturbs a host of demonic forces.


Patricia Highsmith project in post-production

Untitled Patricia Highsmith project, starring Jessica Biel and Patrick Wilson, is in post-production. The psychological thriller is produced by Killer Films's Christine Vachon and David Hinojosa, with Ted Hope, Sierra/Affinity, Joe Simpson and John Jencks and Jay Taylor of Electric Shadow Fund.


Dan Hubbard to cast The Hippopotamus

Casting Director Dan Hubbard, whose credits include The Bourne Supremacy and Downton Abbey, has joined ESC's The Hippopotamus. Adapted from Stephen Fry's best-selling novel, the comedy stars Roger Allam as Ted, a disgraced poet tasked with investigating unexplained 'miracle healings'.
